12 Degree Scorpio New Moon Nov. 4, 2021

NEW MOON AT 12 DEGREES OF SCORPIO ON THURSDAY, NOV. 4TH AT 5:14 PM EDT

A Scorpio New Moon signifies a new beginning related to something intense, undermining, transformative, and revealing. Efforts to disguise true motivations fall short. What’s been hidden is clarified. Betrayal is part of the emerging picture – along with efforts to control and manipulate the narrative.

Transformations are known for being slow, incremental, physically and emotionally exhausting. But this New Moon Chart suggests that will most likely not be the case. Uranus is opposing this new Moon. Sudden “shocks to the system” provide a wake-up call that can make the transformative process instantaneous. What’s been stealthily denied is revealed to be true.

So this is a challenging new beginning where we’re finally able to deal with reality and truth. The guess work and confusion is removed. But the “fix” or correction may be harsh. Mars in the sign of Scorpio – the New Moon’s ruler – is ready for a fight and possibly some retaliation.

Mars in Scorpio is not known for his ability to “forgive and forget.” Anger and resentments can simmer beneath the surface for years or lifetimes.

But Uranus has a way of obliterating “in an instant” the old, outdated reality. Something more enlightened is promised. What we’ve been deeply committed to could no longer make sense in terms of our current values and priorities.

Saturn squares this new Moon providing a challenge that relates to detachment and concern for group goals. Personal vendettas need to be released in favor of social, community, and global goals. Threats of retaliation for “bad behavior” in the form of environmental exploitation will most likely be met with the kind of harsh justice Saturn is known for.

Emotionally this New Moon could be challenging. But the aftermath looks brighter. It’s always better to build on a foundation that’s solid and reliable – rather than an illusion. This new Moon encourages us to start over and to build something better from the ground up – now that what’s true and real is being exposed. The death of an “old way of being” seems essential.
