Two major events:
Since May 23rd of this year Saturn has been though it’s retrograde phase. Tonight at 10:17 PM EDT Saturn, at 6 degrees of Aquarius, turns direct. This is a big deal – especially for Aquarians and Capricorns.
But it’s likely everyone will feel a shift that makes progress easier. It’s likely we’ve all been fighting through restrictions that have made us stronger and less likely to assume that anything will be easy. Today marks a change in the opposite direction.
Jupiter also turns direct on Wednesday of this week at 22 degrees of Aquarius at 1:30 AM EDT. The planet of good fortune has been in retrograde motion since June 19, 2021. This compounds the ease with which we’re able to move forward especially with regard to expansions, liberation, travel, exploration, and our ability to sustain an optimistic outlook. Sagittarians and Pisces will feel Jupiter’s shift most strongly.
Notice that Aquarius is the “common denominator.” His influence is detached, rebellious, innovative, intelligent, and oriented toward the future. He’s prone to disrupt anything that feels stable or “etched in stone.” Aquarius doesn’t follow the rules and has little respect for the kind of traditions that stall progress. Aquarius promotes justice, fairness, tolerance, and friendships.
On Tuesday of this week some challenging adjustments involve communication, relationships, money, the traditional “rules,” what’s been routine and fairly comfortable for you. Mercury continues it’s retrograde treck through the sign of Libra until Oct. 18th. By now you might have some clarity with regard to the meaning and purpose of reviewing, reconsidering, or backtracking since Sep. 27th.
There’s likely to be lots of pressure to move out of your comfort zone in order to promote something balanced, agreeable, just, and fair. Stubbornness is unlikely to be tolerated and could result in a move toward “the extremes” or something unpredictably disruptive.
On Wednesday Venus in Sagittarius sextiles Saturn, newly in direct motion. Taking a realistic, pragmatic, disciplined, innovative approach pays dividends. There’s lots of support for taking some generous action that supports relationships, balance, and love. An unusual developing opportunity could involve exploration, adventure, and mind-expansion.. A future plan comes together if you’re decisive and willing to act.
Another inconjunction involving an awkward adjustment on Wednesday involves the Libra Sun and Neptune retrograding in Pisces. Something related to love, partnership, and the past – a loss, some confusion, or previous disappointment might discourage you from pursuing what’s possible within the realm of romantic love. A promising collaboration might ignite some old fear. Old memories can works against you. It seems necessary to adjust your mindset toward staying in the present moment as you consider initiating a love affair or relationship that might feel promising.
On Saturday the Libra Sun trines Jupiter in Aquarius. The week ends on a beautifully supportive, fortunate note. Love, personal freedom, and good (financial) fortune combines to move you in an expansive, unlikely, interesting, fascinating direction. Taking some (calculated) risk works out better than expected.
(Mercury continues to retrograde in the sign of Libra until Oct. 18th)

Saturn in the innovative, realistic, rule-breaking sign of Aquarius, promotes easier progress as it relates to dealing with groups, friends, activism, or moving the masses in a better/healing direction. Jupiter’s move into direct motion on Wednesday adds something expansive, adventurous, or unusual to the mix. Adventure and foreign travel is favored.
Something courageous initiated within the realm of relationships requires a move out of your comfort zone – especially as it relates to finances, values, priorities, communicating and connecting. Mars is pushing to dominate where relationships, diplomacy, and negotiations are involved. But Uranus is calling for some major adjustments re: a determination to stick with what is or has always been. A new routine or strategy needs to be put in play. But this is most likely an uncomfortable adjustment you might be in danger of resisting. Saturn and reality might provide you with the impetus to make some innovative/enlightened changes
TAURUS (April 21-May 21)
Venus in Sagittarius in your 8th house of transformational change, dealings with the occult, or some intransigent/complicated financial issues are likely to ease up. Progress might get easier as you listen to the financial experts or some innovative advice. What you most want to achieve might not require as much effort as you anticipate. Workable solutions might flow in your direction. Professional or financial roadblocks may be removed. Asserting your authority gets easier.
Discussions, communications, and learning something new – as well as some flexibility of thought related to your current values and priorities might be beneficial. You might prefer traditional, tried and true solutions. But those that “turn traditional or sage advice on its head” might work better. Breaking the rules when it comes to cultivating wealth or challenging parental issues might prove to be a more effective strategy for you.
Mercury remains in retrograde motion until Oct. 18, 2021. You might be rethinking or reviewing an old approach to parenting or “being parented” that involved going against the traditional “grain,” free and open discussion, or the cultivation of an assertive/aggressive approach to sex and love. In the past partnerships might have forced you into playing a role you preferred not to play. Relationships in general might have have presented you with a few impossible options. Facts and beliefs might have been misaligned.
But Saturn’s move tonight into direct motion in your 9th house of truth – combined with Jupiter’s move into direct motion on Wednesday might make it easier for you to understand what you’ve previously been unable to make sense of. Uranus retrograding in your 12th house of things that remain below the surface of consciousness might deliver a flash of insight that suddenly clarifies what’s been chronically confusing. An awkward adjustment to some new clarity will need to be made. In some regard it’s likely to set you free.
Today the Moon resides in the sign of Sagittarius and your 6th house of responsibility, service, and self-improvement. Measurable improvement, independence, something liberating and flexible, might provide the foundation of your security today. Getting along with family members or issue related to your home might be highlighted. Work commitments and responsibilities might conflict with future plans that appear to be confusing or dissolving.
Uncomfortable adjustments might need to be made with regard to group activity. Social conditions might require awkward home/family adjustments. It might be time to move out of your comfort zone or to break with some old routines to create something more enjoyable or liberating within the workplace. It might be easier to work behind the scenes in some capacity. Or it might be time to listen to your intuition and “other-worldly sources of information” to provide you with some sound guidance and much needed healing.
The Sun in your 3rd house of communication benefits most from Jupiter’s turn into direct motion in your 7th house of relationships. If the expansions you’ve wanted to cultivate seem to have been on hold for awhile, that “dry spell” might come to a close. . It’s likely you’ll be the recipient of some good news. The coast is cleared for some new growth. Most likely this is related to a commitment, the release of something repetitive that’s run it’s course, or just plain good luck. A new partnership commitment could be the result.
Saturn’s move into direct motion tonight sets you free of some old restrictions involving your work or your ability to create the conditions for an agreement to be set in place. Old comfortable routines involving the way you express your authority or conduct an enterprise might benefit from a change in routine or a more enlightened.innovative way of achieving what you want most to achieve. To the extent you can “let go” life becomes more enjoyable but maybe lots busier.
VIRGO (August 21-Sep 21)
Virgo benefits, starting tonight, from Saturn’s move into direct motion. Work or the circumstances surrounding your work get easier. You might begin to feel that you’re not “wading through mud” to accomplish even the smallest, most insignificant kinds of progress. As a result of some hardship you’ve gained some strength at a time when old restrictions may be lifted. You might soon gain some real traction in a direction that feels right for you.
A stroke of good luck might be a contributing factor that allows for expansion, liberation, and independence. Financially you might need to make some adjustments that involve planning for the future. It’s time to release something that has provided a comfortable place to land for you. Old routines should be broken up to make room for healthier, more unusual, enlightened, or innovative ones. This might contribute in a positive way to your ability to be financially freer. Cultivating your ability to communicate publicly and effectively between now and Jan. 19th of 2022 is likely to promote progress in the direction of financial freedom.
LIBRA (September 21 – October 21)
The Sun in Libra is a beauty – a lover, a diplomat, a naturally skilled negotiator, artist, or designer. You’ll likely benefit in any or all of these capacities when Jupiter in Aquarius turns into direct motion on Wednesday of this week. If you’ve been plagued by some creative blocks or ongoing frustrations, expect that some restrictions will be lifted. It’s up to you to be prepared for what it is you want to create. Most likely it will be a reflection of you – something cutting edge, highly innovative, unusual, culturally disruptive, or attention-grabbing. An activist message might be delivered in a disturbingly beautiful and meaningful way.
On a different note it’s possible you’ll fall in love as old restrictions are lifted and progress is once again supported. Someone from your past might emerge to re-ignite an old flame. A complicated or frustrating financial partnership might need to be re-vamped – set free of old comfortable routines, patterns, and strategies that feel outdated. On a different note Uranus might want your values and priorities and to be adjusted to reflect who you’re becoming. Chiron in the 7th house of relationships might require you to push through an area of vulnerability that involves a return to balance. A more interesting and potentially disruptive future plan could support your efforts to be assertive or to demand something more from a partner.
SCORPIO (October 21 – November 21)
Mars in Libra in your 12th house suggests an escape, a behind the scenes refuge, private retreat, or hidden love interest. Something fateful may be involved as you release what’s old, familiar, and repetitive in favor of something more lucrative that provides, or results from, an accumulation of wealth and financial freedom. Saturn and Jupiter symbolize work, success, and good fortune. Both advance and support your progress in the direction of family security and strong foundational support. Momentum will continue to build.
Uranus is requiring a change in routine where relationships are involved – a move away from what’s familiar, un-enlightened, and no longer challenging. For Scorpios this will involve relationships and partnerships. If things have become too predictable it’s good to be a force for a relationship disruption. Romantic love and commitment is likely to feel elusive and maybe somewhat debilitating where a strong, solid “sense of self” is the ideal. Your advantage might be your capacity for something highly spiritualized and magical – fated and meant to be.
SAGITTARIUS (November 21- December 21)
Awkward adjustments might need to be made where old routines, cycles that have run their course, or inherited beliefs no longer feel personally relevant or meaningful. This is likely to involve your work life, your responsibilities, some repetitive methods, or a disengagement from what once brought you joy. It might be time to give yourself permission to return to something that was originally exciting, endlessly fascinating, innovative, unusual, or risky in some regard. Nervous energy might have replaced what was once genuinely exciting.
Jupiter, your chart ruler’s move into direct motion on Wednesday, is likely to bring you in contact with something that ignites progress in the direction of communication and making some new connections that bring you joy. Maybe this will involve teaching, publishing, higher education, travel, expansion, freedom, and independence. Secret knowledge might begin to flow in your direction. If you’re flexible and open it’s easy to attract some fresh “raw material” that could essentially “bring you back to life” when all the possibilities are considered. An un-enthused Sagittarian is a sad sight see. With Jupiter newly involved in a progressive direction it’s likely you’ll be bouncing back in an unusually promising, interesting direction.
CAPRICORN (December 21 – January 21)
Adjustments might need to be made where your love life, romance, creative talents, and playfulness are involved. It might be time to take a break from heavy responsibilities involving routines, agreements, money, negotiations, compromise, and “smoothing ruffled feathers.” Pluto and Neptune align in a nice sextile aspect. It’s good to take some (intuitive) action this week that adds fuel to a developing opportunity. It might be time to make some new connections and commitments.
Saturn’s move into direct motion tonight represents an especially powerful and positive shift for you – and for all Capricorns and Aquarians. Any roadblocks related to a financial slow-down or blockage are likely to dissipate this week. Be prepared for some new developments and a reversal that’s financially positive for you.
AQUARIUS (January 21 – February 21)
Saturn in your 1st house might have presented you with some restrictions and limitations involving your physical body, a sudden accident, or something otherwise unpredictable. But over the past several months low energy levels or some fear might have made it difficult or impossible for you to initiate anything new. Anything requiring effort might have felt heavy and burdensome. But it’s likely with Saturn’s return into direct motion tonight, your energy and confidence will soon return. Jupiter’s turn into direct motion on Wednesday – also in your 1st house – is likely to bring some new advantages, opportunities, expansion, andgood fortune into your life. Something liberating and newly exciting could involve relationships, travel, and stronger sense of self.
Uranus in your 4th house of home and family is ripe for change. What’s old, routine, and comfortable needs to be deliberately disrupted. Something more enlightened is required where the past and security concerns are issues. The most promising personal investment for you from now until Jan. 19th of 2022 involves your ability to communicate, to interpret, to learn, create some innovative solutions, to write, and maybe publish. Flexibility and an open mind are “key.”
PISCES (February 21 – March 21)
Jupiter’s move from retrograde into direct motion on Wednesday is especially powerful for Pisces. (Jupiter “rules” Pisces.) Your whole style and approach to life is about to undergo a major shift. Good fortune and an easier “flow” returns. Trusting and relying your intuition “makes a comeback.” Saturn and Jupiter both move into direct motion in your 12th house. The kind of powerful shift that’s felt might be hard to define. But a distinct innovative or culturally disruptive flavor might resonate.
An old, comfortable, vague, or evasive communication style might need to be released in favor of something more courageous and enlightened. It seems you have something to say about love, values, priorities, and asserting authority in ways that promote an end to something that’s run it’s course. Something fated is likely to be infused into the mix. What’s most promising involves some disruption to an old source of security.
