Taurus Full Moon Horoscopes Week of 10/28 – 11/3

This week is dominated “feeling-wise” by the Taurus Full Moon. Over the course of the next several days we’ll be feeling this Moon’s intensifying effects.

The visuals associated with the impending Taurus full Moon are interesting:

“A lightening bolt piercing the sky,” and “an eagle diving down upon a snake in the grass.”

Saturday’s full Moon at eight degrees of Taurus aligns with Uranus in Taurus moving in retrograde motion. Emotional “shocks to the system” of varying degrees may be in play. It’s likely we need a shock to move us in a more liberating, satisfying, or empowered direction.

Something disruptive financially or with regard to habits that are deeply ingrained is a possibility. A mild to intense destabilization may be in play. But the outcome will likely be beneficial.

Uranus in retrograde motion suggests that only in retrospect will we see or understand the wisdom of upending what hasstabilized and concurrently confined us for a long time.

It’s possible to get a glimpse of a truth that shreds mystifications, cover-ups, and maybe the games we play with ourself. What has supported and sustained a lie may be exposed with de=stabilizing results.

We might take action, receive an answer, or make some important adjustments within the realm of relationships. We might play defense when we’re used to playing offense – or vice versa. A liberating opening may present itself as the current climate presents something different.

Over-compromise and a desire for “peace at any price” could back us into a corner. Chaos and disruption can be useful if we’re trying to break free of old habits and patterns. But it’s likely this full Moon will provides the impetus for something more aligned with your true nature and greater potential.

Note: Reading these horoscopes for your Moon sign rather than (or in addition to) your Sun sign may be especially relevant. If I’ve read your chart in the past and you don’t remember your Moon sign email me and I’ll remind you.

Thanks for reading,

Holly

ARIES (March 21-April 21)
This full Moon exerts it’s effects in the financial, financial partnership, trust, and intimacy realms of life. Professional relationships may be frustrating. Doors may be closing that were once open to you. The exposure of some previously hidden betrayal of trust might be narrowing your options. It’s time to get creative. Being willing to let go of an old habit, source of security, or something reliably comfortable is the precursor to a major transformation that looks hopeful and supportive of the kind of expansion and liberation you seek. Initiating something new may be an area of vulnerability for you. Having no choice (in retrospect) is likely to seem like a pivotal turning point, a liberation, and a blessing. (I emphasize the retrospect part.)

TAURUS (April 21-May 21)
This full Moon predominantly influences your lifestyle and relationships. A clarification is received that emphasizes the need to free yourself from the past. A transformative change in the nature of relationships and your role within them presents an opportunity for liberation and a new lifestyle approach. A pivotal (relationship) turning point is presented. It may feel de-stabilizing, liberating, and exhilarating all at the same time. A separation from confining old habits and sources of comfort seems promising. Letting go of the past can be difficult for a Taurus. But living in the past and allowing yourself to be restricted by it may no longer feel optional. The reasons for an important transformative shift may be clarified. Breaking with an old vision for the future could improve your health and allow you to love the ways you become newly useful to yourself and others.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21)
This full Moon impacts the hidden sector of your life where old, comfortable, limited, beliefs, fears, restrictions, and secrets reside. That area of life may be ripe for exposure and a subsequent liberating effect. This seems especially important now as you may be contemplating a transformative change in the nature of your work, routines, habits, and approaches to health. A decision with lots of implications for the future needs to be made without the distorting effects of old personal issues you’ve not previously addressed. Keeping secrets requires more energy and extracts a higher cost than is usually realized. Rules surrounding a financial partnership, dependence, power or survival issues may be limiting your ability to exuberantly express the creative aspects of your personality. This full Moon might change something related to greater independence.

CANCER (June 21-July 21)
This full Moon is likely to influence friendships, your social life, or areas of community involvement. An opportunity to end something habitual you’ve likely outgrown is possible. Your capacity for truth-telling, healing, or something profoundly transformative is under the spotlight this week. The force of your personality, your creative instincts, the way you love, or express yourself in the world is highlighted. The expression and further development of the most unique aspects of your personality could allow you to take full control over the direction of your life. Something restrictive related to family rules and the truth – what you can or cannot say – may feel especially restrictive. There’s potential this week is for you to break free of what’s most confining within the realm of relationships as you re-consider your goals, and an area of chronic vulnerability, and the need to be the final authority over your life.

LEO (July 21-Aug 21)
This Taurus full Moon is likely to transform the nature of life-long goals, your profession, or the current direction of your life. A change in values and priorities may be imminent. Foundationally and at the core of your being something shifts that liberates you from old habits, sources of comfort, over-work, a chronic under-estimation of your worth and value – or the worth and value of your life. You may be liberated from the past and free to pursue a different path forward. Feeling restricted by a heavy workload or stressful routine may be habitual or or a source of comfort. But it seems you’re outgrowning that. An experience that provides a break from routine opens your eyes to more promising possibilities. You may soon be free to create a different kind of plan for the future that doesn’t rely so heavily on avoiding “bad” feelings. Plans for the future may change. Time tables may change.

VIRGO (August 21-Sep 21)
Under this Taurus full Moon a profound shift in your perspective, your mindset, or the actual facts on the ground will, in retrospect, be revealed as pivotal, life changing, and transformative. This full Moon presents you with new opportunities, an unexpected offer, or new freedoms that for you ultimately enhance and expand the possibilities. An old, habitual ways of thinking and limiting yourself may be de-stabilized and undermined. No longer can you pretend that you’re restricted in the same ways you’ve always been. Opportunities may involve areas related to higher education, legal possibilities and outcomes, publishing, and travel. As a result of something liberating and mind expanding it’s possible to adjust your plans for the future and to feel more hopeful. Breaking free of old restrictions and heavy responsibilities involving love and children moves you into your own natural rhythm.

LIBRA (September 21 – October 21)
This full Taurus Moon liberates you from old habits, routines, approaches to financial issues, financial partnerships, and trust/intimacy issues. The intent is to separate you from old values and priorities that lock you in and constrict your ability to assert power and control over your life. What you’ve depended on for security and stabilization may be undermined or removed. This is a wake-up call. It’s time to address what underlies a general mistrustful or vulnerable approach to relationships where joint finances, intimacy, and diminishing power are issues. It’s time to tell the truth or to acknowledge an underlying truth that is currently being clarified. Now is the time to begin to adjust your approach and maybe to restructure or redefine old habits, sources of security, and financial power. An unexpected betrayal might instigate a pivotal, liberating turning point.

SCORPIO (October 21 – November 21)
The impending Taurus full Moon in your 7th house of relationships and partnerships may be de-stabilizing in some regard. Most likely it’s liberating. Because the phenomenon of “projection” is so prominent when the 1st and 7th houses are highlighted as they currently are – what’s reflected back to you in the form of a partner is actually an aspect of yourself you haven’t yet recognized or figured out how to express – invites some confusion or misinterpretation. Something very emotional may be triggered regarding your future and future possibilities. This may be a pivotal turning point in a relationship that reflects growth and change within yourself. But it may seem like “the other” has changed. You may attract a radically different partner than you have in the past. Your needs and desires are evolving. In retrospect you will likely see this as an important turning point. The influence of an old relationship or “family rules” may need to re-considered.

SAGITTARIUS (November 21- December 21)
This full Moon is likely to destabilize an obsessive or extreme work or health routine that may have become obsessive, perfectionistic, and increasingly disconnected from what your soul craves. The exposure of something related to a betrayal of the spiritual/artistic/intuitive parts of yourself can serve as wake up call – preferably before your health is negatively impacted. Maybe you’re exploiting your ability to focus or work for long periods of time while drowning out the quiet voice within. You could be diminishing the value of your ability to channel higher truths because it feels too easy and essentially “out of your control.” It may be time for a more appreciative and accommodating approach to the mysterious influences that would make your work product more relevant and universally healing. Breaking with routines and aligning yourself with the healing powers of the natural world and the untapped potential that lies within seems wise.

CAPRICORN (December 21-January 21)
The impending full Moon in Taurus reflects back to you the outcome of efforts made to infuse your relationship with more love, romance, playfulness, and joy through a break with your usual (relationship) routines. What you expect and what you get in terms of a response may not be what you expected or hoped for. But it may inadvertently target something that needs to be transformed, released, or liberated within you. A break from routine may reveal some fault lines related to old habits or sources of security and comfort. A reversal related to traditional goals, career, home, or current life direction may be in play. Something foundational that’s currently under review is likely to be clarified. Something unexpected changes the game.

AQUARIUS (January 21-February 21)
This full Moon in Taurus may serve to liberate you from the past in some regard. Something disruptive will likely stimulate a conclusion, an answer, or pivotal turning point related to family relationships, your relationship to your current home or place of residence. A change in life direction or a breakdown in the traditional goals, values, and priorities you’ve constructed your current life around may be thrown up in the air or descend into chaos. A break in routine could reveal some fault lines you hadn’t noticed. A relocation option is possibility. If you’re seeking a liberation from the past (or even if you’re not) this full Moon may energize it.
pisces otherworldly
PISCES (February 21-March 21)
The impending Taurus full Moon ignites something emotionally liberating in your 3rd house of communication. New information – something your hear, something you say, or something newly enlightening in terms of what you now know, understand, or have experienced changes the game. Your mind is opened to some new and different options. A revelation of what’s actually true may require a course correction and some internal adjustments related to old values and priorities. You’re likely to see new possibilities where you previously saw nothing but road blocks and impossibility. An eventual release from past restrictions involving trust, intimacy, and social constraints is likely to be in play.
