New Horoscopes for the Week of June 10th – 16th

OVERVIEW

Tomorrow the Sun in Gemini squares Neptune. This is an opportunity to clarify where the fault lines are that dishearten, discourage, exhaust and demoralize. It’s easy to get sidetracked, confused, or to miss something when Neptune is involved. “Slight of hand” maneuvers can obscure the facts and throw you off your game. Acting on bad or incomplete information produces disappointing results. Acts of compassion and kindness look like the best approach to to this combination of energies.

At the same time Venus in Gemini sextiles Chiron in Aries. This is quiet, gentle, reliably supportive energy. Encounters with fear, woundedness, pain, and vulnerability can be clarifying. Confronting fears related to love and feeling undeserving of it opens doors. The infusion of more love and kindness into the conversation you’re having with yourself (and others) creates opportunities for healing and moving forward.

On Saturday, Mars in Pisces conjuncts Neptune in Pisces. Action is taken in the direction of something ideal, visionary, or arguably unrealistic. The manifestation of tangible results might be difficult. But being part of the collective vision that’s emerging is a powerful game changer. The most effective strategies and techniques may be of a higher spiritual order.

There is no shortage of collective inspiration. Creative artists, writers, musicians, photographers, designers, etc, may feel compelled to act on ideas that have been put on hold for too long.

On Sunday there’s an inconjunct between the Gemini Sun and Pluto retrograding in Capricorn. Inconjuncts are uncomfortable and off-key. They require uncomfortable adjustments. Something is misaligned between the possibilities and choices now being illuminated and old oppressive limitations deeply embedded in an inflexible, exploitative system. Trends and circumstances that overwhelm influence your options and decisions moving you in a direction you might not want to go.

On a personal level we may be trying to break free of something habitual and deeply embedded that continues to undermine our hopes and dreams. Addictions are especially challenging. But there seems to be an opening for change. It’s not a comfortable choice.

Within public and governmental realms addictions to power may be especially hard to break. The threat of change may be met with something especially heavy handed.

Navigating our way around and through requires confrontation with a deeper truth. Retreat or laying the blame elsewhere perpetuates a frustrating/destructive cycle. Taking on your personal share of the responsibility for change seems important.

We’re in the midst of an eclipse season that began on June 1st. You know you’re in an eclipse season when the the Sun is within 18 degrees of the North or South Node.

Today the Sun is nine degrees away from a conjunction with the South Node. An eclipse in Cancer at 0 degrees occurs on June 21st. The Summer Solstice occurs one day before on June 20th at 2:43 PM. This is a game changer. A different kind of foundation supports different kinds of possibilities and events.

The last time an Eclipse/Solstice occurred at this exact degree (0 Degrees of Cancer) was on June 21st 2001. That eclipse is believed to have set the stage for 9/11.

In the Chart of the United States the Sun is placed in the sign of Cancer. As a nation a sense of identity revolves around feeling safe, secure, and invulnerable. A shift in thinking in the direction of something more realistic is energized over the next few months. Unfounded fears may be seen for what they are or what they represent.

There are six eclipses in 2020. The last three occur between August 5th and Dec. 14th 2020.

ARIES (March 21-April 21)
Opportunities to more fully integrate and heal an old source of vulnerability and pain requires a change in perspective – something more objective, truthful, a more plausible explanation for an old wound that continues to limit and haunt you. Almost always there’s a tendency is to blame yourself or to feel you deserved to be hurt. That almost never reflects the actual truth. Venus supports a clarifying and ultimately freeing assessment and review of the facts. This week there’s an opportunity to move beyond a stubborn mindset that insists on a distorted/skewed version of a wounding event. Beliefs may change with regard to the future. New hope emerges for something more promising related to connecting with love (self-love). This week it’s likely you’ll feel spaced-out, confused, uncertain of what you actually desire, un-focused and drained. Non-action, a deliberate or accidental omission, depletion, or death might have the biggest impact. What’s being exposed amount to a hit to our (collective) sense of who we are. Uncomfortable adjustments may need to be made on personal and collective levels. Those relate to the exposure of previously hidden facts and what we’re beginning to discover about ourselves and what we’ve created. It may conflict with what we assumed to be true.

TAURUS (April 21-May 21)
Uranus in your 2nd house continues to assert a strong influence over your life. As values and priorities change – as you break through old blockages to progress in love, and rely on a huge reservoir of philosophical and emotional depth you’re undergoing a progressive process of liberation. You’re being set free to express yourself in ways that are most natural to you. You tend to make an indelible mark and strong impression on those you come in contact with. They recognize the reflection of something enlightened within you. Old beliefs about secrecy, wielding power, mistrust, intimacy and betrayal are now free to dissolve. The most promising path is the most internally stabilizing one. This week there may be some uncomfortable adjustments that need to be made. Those relate to the future, future plans, finances, habits, and patterns that drain energy, obscure truth, or block communication. Saturn in the 10th house requires leadership in a revolutionary direction. Understanding, coming to terms with the past, making amends, and moving forward seems especially important now.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21)
Your communicative/connecting style and approach to life is illuminated this week. There remains something very promising about the current opportunities presenting themselves, your ability to make an indelible impact, and the gentle guidance your receiving in a specific or clarifying direction. To the extent you can release old beliefs about balance and justice and fairness within the realm of committed relationships, you’re free to take the most promising path. Financial stability/security needs have an influence. There’s critical value in reconnecting or re-aligning with your own natural rhythms, instincts, something more restful, peaceful, rejuvenating, and grounding. You may not be making full use of your real source of power – the power to stabilize through trusting yourself and your instincts especially when outer circumstance are chaotic and uncertain. Uncomfortable adjustments may need to be made within the realm of finances, financial partnerships, or the sacrifice of what feels most natural to you. A major overhaul or re-organization may need to be made so trust, intimacy, and the truth can survive and thrive. Opportunities to more fully integrate a source of vulnerability amounts to a change in perspective and a more objective, truthful explanation for the wound that continues to haunt you

CANCER (June 21-July 21)
The obscure and invisible 12th house is illuminated for the next 10 days. During that time what you normally can’t see or connect with is more readily available. Confusion and mental blocks might dissolve this week. Sources of inspiration and guidance flow in your direction. It’s good to find time alone, to allow yourself to be internally pre-occupied, or fully engaged in a creative pursuit in order receive information that provides you with an answer. This week beliefs related to your future – the future as it relates to nurturing, care-giving, protecting, and cultivating what you aspire to – may be undermined by the kind of internal guidance and clarity you receive. A different kind of action or plan needs to be devised. Overall this looks challenging. Uncertainty continues to block your ability to be decisive. Communication revolves around being receptive to the emotional needs of yourself and others. It may be time to dig beneath the surface for answers that are more substantial and less superficial. Saturn wants you to be realistic and truthful about your ability to trust yourself and others, what it will take to empower yourself and to transform the landscape of your life. Uncomfortable adjustments may need to be made within the realm of relationships.

LEO (July 21-Aug 21)
What’s currently under illumination is the part of your life that relates to communication, higher forms of service, your highest ideals, community activism, and a focus on changing the world or putting forth the effort it takes to attain the full measure of what you’re capable of achieving in this lifetime. Promising directions open up if you can align your beliefs with infusing your life with the things that bring you the most joy and satisfaction. There is something uncomfortably misaligned that seems related to your work, your health, future plans, and the need for a major transformation. Something along these lines needs to be addressed. What is not obvious but instrumental is the existence of a fear-filled mindset related to the loss of security. It’s time to meditate on the extent to which security concerns delay and sideline a much needed transformation/ overhaul of your work methods and/or health routines. Financial partnerships or financial concerns might obscure the recognition of your greatest source of satisfaction. Saturn in your 7th house of relationships requires some effort to break through blockages to progress. Something inflexible can put a strain on your health or the relationship itself. It’s good to recognize when you’re asking too much of a partner, refusing to compromise, or digging into a “my way or the highway” approach.

VIRGO (August 21-Sep 21)
Saturn in your 6th house of work environments, routines, and issues related to health implies there’s work to be done to break through blockages to progress. What feels confining can be revolutionized. Self-sabotage related to perfectionistic tendencies, self-criticism and the inability to measure up to impossibly high standards can be addressed in a consistent, focused way. Success for you might involve freedom and independence. You may now have the desire (and opportunity) to create a service, routine, or work environment that is unusually effective and efficient. Being locked into a routine of over-work or an insecure, chaotic situation might be the catalyst that encourages you to organize and create your own thing based on your own unusual or unique talent. Now may be the time to set up an organization that meets unmet needs. It could be community or globally based.
On a different note a loss or something poorly defined within the realm of relationships and may challenge your sense of identity. This may relate to knowing what you want in terms of your career, your relationship with the public, and your general life direction. What your aiming for may be elusive. Trusting your instincts and intuition may be helpful. Strategizing the end to a confusing or elusive relationship may be necessary.

LIBRA (September 21 – October 21)
Venus in your 9th house of beliefs, religion, spiritual aspirations, and expansive love can feel confined by an old relationship wound. But the door is opening to an opportunity change your perspective or the meaning you ascribe to a painful wound that continues to haunt or limit your options. How you define your role in the wounding event is critical. You can change your mind. There’s lots of cosmic support for that this week. Your sense of identity and the way you define yourself to yourself may be dissolving. Something confusing or uncertain related to health or work issues leaves you in a holding pattern with regard to the future, freedom, higher education, a the possibility of getting something published. Saturn retrograding in your 5th house of love, creativity, and children presents a challenge to break through old blockages to progress and to revolutionize that sector of life. This may involve materializing an idea, creating an organization that serves un-met needs, or showcasing your most unique talents and attributes. Something old, inflexible, systemically powerful, or undermining to your sense of confidence/ self-worth involves a legacy and/or your family of origin. An overthrow of old patterns is timely.

SCORPIO (October 21 – November 21)
Your sense of identity – how you would define yourself to yourself – may be dissolving. What you’re able to nurture and cultivate within yourself may be related to confusing conditions involving love, romance, and creative freedom. You may need to take actions you’re currently unable or unwilling to take because it’s too hard or too scary. Something uncomfortable (the truth) may need to be verbalized. Old beliefs about the value of having the freedom to be your most natural and powerful self are under review. Something of real value may relate to telling the most truthful version of own story. Being honest with yourself is hard. Distinguishing between what you own and what another owns seems important in some regard. Saturn retrograding in Aquarius in your 4th house of your home, family, and the past implies it’s time to free yourself of old limitations, an unfortunate family inheritance or legacy, and the kind of fear and uncertainty that diminishes your power to break through blockages to progress. Rethinking love and past wounds can allow for healing if you change your perspective or the meaning you ascribe to something painful that continues to haunt or limit you.

SAGITTARIUS (November 21- December 21)
The need for a transformation of your beliefs concerning what stabilizes and aligns you with your most natural way of being, supports your values, connects you with a huge reservoir of philosophical and emotional depth, or empowers a financial partnership is underway. But this may be uncomfortable in terms of how you’ve always defined yourself to yourself. You may find that something something promising relates more to communicating and connecting with a partner than taking off on adventures or creating distance in order to maintain your freedom. What you thought was stabilizing may no longer be. The kind of music you love may be changing. The nature of love and commitment is under review and in the process of being clarified. You may have to go back before moving forward. Some kind of action related to a loss, inaction, or an omission may be most effective. It’s hard to know what you want from your family, from the past, or what it is you’re aiming for. Nothing may feel “right” enough to permanently settle into at the moment. But further development of the possibility of connecting with a committed partner (as you re-connect with your most natural self) seems promising,

CAPRICORN (December 21-January 21)
Information is elusive, shifting, or never the same from one minute to the next. It’s hard to get a grip on what’s true and what’s not true. Your mind may be tempted to “check out” or to rise above the need to know. You may be getting comfortable with the statement “I have no idea.” Your love for the work you do or the service you provide may be up for review as a result of the uncertainty or mental exhaustion that can be a real thing. A change in your beliefs about letting your higher, instinctual, less logical self take over and guide you forward may be timely. Uncomfortable adjustments relate to your traditional approach to work, fear of falling short of perfection, or losing control. New strategies that reflect something more balanced can be applied. Saturn encourages you to reconsider the value of a reconnection or re-alignment with your own natural rhythms, instincts, something more restful, rejuvenating, and grounding. You may not be making the best use of your real source of power – the power to stabilize yourself inwardly when outer circumstance are chaotic and uncertain.

AQUARIUS (January 21-February 21)
A sense of (financial) stability, your ability to flow with your own natural rhythms, practical actions, and something concrete and solid related to mothering/nurturing may be elusive. Something related to love, romance, and children involves the dissolution of what’s become comfortable or something you’ve gotten used to. That may be related to tradition or a disconnection from something sacred and priceless. Choices involving freedom, creativity, and verbal/written expressions of love are reconsidered. Old wounds continue to exert an influence within the realm of love. Old beliefs may be ripe for change in order for love to prevail. Self preservation may be an issue. The most effective action may be no action given that you don’t actually know for sure anymore what you actually desire. Uncomfortable adjustments involving love relate to messages from the small voice within. It seems to be broadcasting the need for deep transformational change. That most likely involves the release of a fear of loss of control that might continue to limit your receptivity to love.
pisces otherworldly
PISCES (February 21-March 21)
A non-commital, shape-shifting, elusive approach within the realm of relationships may be undermining the foundations you’ve built. Ideas or plans related to home, family, home improvement projects, safety and security may be dissolving. Beliefs change in terms of what you’re aiming for based on what’s actually possible. Future choices may now seem unclear. Rethinking love and past wounds is healing if you can change your perspective and the meaning you’ve ascribed to something painful that continues to limit you. Artists, healers, musicians, and those inclined to connect with inspiration may thrive under the Mars/Neptune square. It’s hard to know what you want and what kind of role you want to play in the world, with family, or within the realm of relationships. Ceasing to make an effort and letting it go may be the most effective thing you can do. Saturn backtracking in your 12th house implies an inner revolution that seeks to unravel limitations you may not be consciously aware of. Global trends sweep you up and negate the domestic choices you once had. Uncomfortable adjustments are required.
