Horoscopes for the Week of Feb. 5th – 11th

OVERVIEW FOR THE WEEK

On Wednesday Feb 5, 2020, at 4:43 AM Mercury in Pisces sextiles Uranus in Taurus.

This is your mind being highly receptive to unusual, outlandish, illogical ideas that over time and through a three step process transmute into something innovative, oddly stabilizing, and possibly substantially lucrative.

Mercury sextiles Uranus three times between now and March 22nd due to Mercury’s retrograde on Feb. 16th. A three step process of primes your mind for the future. Nervous systems of every living thing are under stress, rapidly adapting, and evolving.

The highly accelerated breakdown of old values, traditions, and institutions results in disorientation, instability, and chaos. But it seems out of chaos and instability we’ll begin to recognize and take advantage of the opportunities it brings.

Whenever Uranus is involved – when things are no longer “set in stone” – unexpected and surprising opportunities and approaches materialize.

On Friday Venus enters the sign of Aries. Courage, physical giftedness, and knowing how and when to take actions that will attract what you most desire are indicated. Mars rules Venus in Aries and Mars is currently placed in the sign of Sagittarius. This is an indication that whatever actions you take will require that you stretch beyond your current comfort zone. It’s a good time to place yourself in a foreign environment to force the development of parts of yourself that have lain dormant.

Something foreign and unfamiliar will teach you new things about who you are, who you’ve always been, what you prefer, what you love, and what the limits of your capabilities may or may not be.

On Saturday Feb 8th Mercury in Pisces trines the North Node in Cancer. Your mind registers the fact that when you take your emotions/emotional needs into consideration you seem to progress in the direction of your life’s true purpose and your most deeply satisfying, authentic life direction becomes easier to manifest.

On Saturday, Feb. 8th Juno turns into retrograde motion at 21 degrees of Libra. A reconsideration of your attitude toward marriage and/or current commitments may be triggered. Whats in need of reconsideration will be a focus until May 26th at which time you may come to a conclusion or resolution.

A full Moon in the sign of Leo culminates on Sunday, February 9th at 2:33 AM Eastern time. I’ll write about it in more detail later this week.

On Monday Venus aligns with Chiron at 2 degrees of Aries. An old painful wound is triggered with beneficial results. The truth is that the spark of genius we all possess is activated by our single most painful life experience. The part of us that’s been most deeply wounded is the generative source of the best gift we have to give. This week you may understand the mystery. It has the potential to change your understanding of pain and it’s ultimate purpose.

Thanks, as always, for reading,

Holly

ARIES (March 21-April 21)
This week Venus’s transit into the sign of Aries makes risky/adventurous action easier. Your bold, courageous style and approach is more appealing to the masses. Timing is good for expanding your reach, believing more deeply in yourself, and being able to access your inner wisdom when you need it. Behind the scenes your intuition is working overtime to move you forward in a beneficial direction. Feeling more compassion for a mother or care giver who hurt you seems timely. Sensitizing yourself to the feelings of family members or taking a kinder look at the past where family is concerned could represent an important (beneficial) turning point. This week the timing is right for a command performance from you. The full Moon in Leo brings your creative talent and ability to entertain to a culmination point. Choose your audience wisely – or perform a magic spell to attract the right audience for you. Romance is enhanced. A new love interest is possible – maybe even likely.

TAURUS (April 21-May 21)
There’s a lot going on behind the scenes of your life and out of public view. Essentially an old painful wound is triggered with results that may ultimately be profoundly beneficial. Within the deepest recesses of your mind and heart disruption and fear, or maybe the triggering or reminder of your most painful comes to light. The past is revived in some way. Private and deeply personal disruptions are reflected within your daily routines, work routines, responsibilities, or health status. Resentments may seep through. Inviting a painful memory in and sitting with it for awhile serves to activate an area of special genius – the best gift you have to offer the world. Adjustments are timely. Responsibilities you’re committed to fulfilling are up for review and under reconsideration from now until May 26th. Something needs to be brought into balance. Give and take could be an issue. Love, responsibility, and personal freedom can be balanced in ways that make your life work better.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21)
This week a decision involving love and freedom – possibly striking a better balance between the two – is in play. The reality of a financial partnership, habits and (battle) strategies may align with your dreams for (professional) success, elevated social status, an enviable public life or image. But something may be lost or sacrificed in the transaction. It may be time to take a hard look at the facts – what you do for money and how that may represent a minor or major betrayal of yourself. Self-respect and it’s importance might be highlighted. The need for more space or independence within relationships may be undeniable. Juno’s move into retrograde motion in the sign of Libra gives you a chance to reconsider the nature of your commitments. By May 26th something is resolved, decided, or brought to a close.

CANCER (June 21-July 21)
The impending culmination of the full Moon in Leo dominates the scene for Cancer. Something emotionally freer within the realms of financial partnerships or sex and intimacy may be desired. Pride and/or demands for instant gratification may distort the fundamentals of money management A culmination, ending, or rebalancing of the scales is in play. Something more equitable, just, or fair may be required. Power imbalances may need to be adjusted. Ownership issues may come into play in ways that diminish or enhance a sense of self-worth. Relationship/partnership commitments may need to be reconsidered between now and May 26th. Memories or reminders of an old, painful wound may be triggered this week. This could be related to issues involving success, social status, career, or life direction. If you don’t know what your best gift to the world is that could be clarified this week. It probably has something to do with security, stability, and knowing when to take some risk for the sake of achieving your highest goal.

LEO (July 21-Aug 21)
A culmination, ending, or “re-balancing of the scales” materializes this week. This seems to involve relationships, give and take, compromise, and love. The North Node in your intuitive 12th house is connecting you with highly refined psychic information and know-how. You may be sensing and responding to subtle messages you used to ignore. Practically speaking listening for information may be highly useful with regard to your efficiency, effectiveness, and hitting the target you’re aiming for. From now through May 26th you may rethink current commitments and the nature of your future. There are lots of unknowns. But one thing you might sense is the need for your future to include lots of love, entertainment, and some occasional adrenaline-pumping excitement. Don’t get confused about old wounds and vulnerabilities that scared you into playing it safe. Your best contribution to the world has a lot to do with creative freedom, believing in yourself, and creating a future you look forward to.

VIRGO (August 21-Sep 21)
This week the full Moon in Leo illuminates parts of your life that are hidden from others and maybe from yourself. Creativity and issues involving love may be highly energized. Creative freedom within your work life or daily routine could benefit from this full Moon. Now is a bad time to feel creatively restricted. If you do feel confined now may be a time when you decide to bring an end what’s outlived its usefulness. On the health front some innovative changes can (and may need to be) made. Behind the scenes a project you’ve had in mind takes hold and becomes energized. Something creative moves into the gestational phase to be nurtured and fed behind the scenes until it’s ready to make an appearance in solid form. Your innate creative talents seem related to organization, business management, financial management, identifying and addressing organizational problems, streamlining for efficiency, maximizing profit, etc. It seems these skills could be further developed. It may be time to consider more education, publishing, teaching, adventure travel, or something foreign that teaches you new things about yourself.

LIBRA (September 21 – October 21)
Central this week is the reconsideration of what you’ve committed yourself to. A role you play within the realm of marriage or a role you play that involves being the peacemaker, the compromiser, or the one who promotes justice and fairness may need to be adjusted. The full Moon culminates in the sign of Leo (love and creative self-expression) calling into question issues of creative freedom versus the need to cultivate a public image or social life that conforms to professional standards of success, accomplishment, specialness, fame, or belonging to the right crowd. You may need to break away from those kinds activities that could be registering as confining. On a different note issues related to receptivity and love may be highlighted. If you’ve been hurt in the past and shy away from love and potential lovers, this full Moon could go a long way toward getting you back in the game – if that’s something you prefer. A friend could turn into lover under this lunar influence. It’s possible – even likely – that someone new will ignite your interest.

SCORPIO (October 21 – November 21)
This week you may be caught up in the momentum of a culminating full Moon in the sign of Leo. Changes may need to be made. Something lopsided may need to be brought into balance. Or something that has outlived its usefulness might need to come to an end. Your focus and attention may be brought to a partner, partnership, or relationship issue. Something may conflict with your freedom to nurture in ways you see fit or to cultivate things you value most. This may relate to your mother or to your own role as a mother. You must be free to experience the cycle of life (birth, loss, death, and rebirth) in your own way. Something from the past may be important – and it may be destabilized or disrupted in a way that feels like a loss. At the same time cultivating social status, success, public acclaim, fame or fortune might need to be taken into consideration. A better compromise between your public and private life may be necessary. Private, behind the scenes commitments or arrangements involving routine responsibilities, health habits, or work environments can be reconsidered between now and May 26th.

SAGITTARIUS (November 21- December 21
This week Mercury and Uranus align in ways that focus you on health and work issues. Health upgrades and improvements may be a focus. Developing new methods or ideas to make your work more interesting and exciting is part of this week’s picture. You may be tired of repeating yourself and wanting to make more of an impact with something grounding and stabilizing in a magically powerful kind of way. Partners or potential partners may be encouraging, supportive, sensitive to your needs and appreciative of your true worth and value. On a different note it may be timely to consider something riskier or more exciting – a chance to expand your future or to move forward in some unorthodox ways. The next logical step in a (successful) career can be taken. This week the full Moon might activate a strong (overconfident) belief in yourself and your future. But changes will probably need to be made – or a better balance between creative freedom and future security may need to be negotiated. Opportunities come in the form of higher education, travel, teaching, publishing, or daring to introduce something taboo or disturbing into the mix.

CAPRICORN (December 21-January 21)
This week you may realize your strength, power, and effectiveness through a partner who seems to be benefitting from your sensitivity, kindness, support, and wisdom. A degree of selflessness, sensitivity, and generosity solidifies something very meaningful to you. Mercury’s sextile to Uranus in your 5th house focuses you on the kind of love that lasts – love that weathers storms well, survives and thrives come what may. This week you may have received some assurances in this regard. The full Moon indicates changes, re-balancing efforts, or endings with regard to money earned. taxes, or debts owed. You may feel proud of your contribution within a financial partnership and seek to protect what you own jointly. At the same time you may be searching for new freedoms, legal loopholes, getting around conventional rules, and guidance in the direction of something more creative. Ideas and thoughts may be focused on having the means to infuse more joy into your life.

AQUARIUS (January 21-February 21)
This week you may be taking some risk within the realm of relationships – putting yourself out there for others to embrace or reject in the interest of creative freedom or moving yourself forward in some way. Change may be necessary. Bringing an end to what’s no longer exciting and alive with potential may be necessary. Commitments to a familiar day to day routine may need to be reconsidered. Between now and May 26th you may be updating what it is your willing to committed to. All sorts of wild insecurities may overwhelm as you agree to take your own needs into consideration and to act on your own behalf. For Aquarians at this moment in time, habitual self-sacrifice is likely to feel wrong. Just because you can tolerate a difficult situation doesn’t mean you should. In the deepest, darkest recesses of your subconscious mind old structures built to support self-sacrifice, guilt, endless work, or overwhelming amounts of responsibility are dissolving. Drastic change has been a quiet, hidden process. You know you’re on the right track when others begin to wonder “who are you and what have you done with the reliably over-worked, guilt-ridden, self-sacrificing person I used to know?”

PISCES (February 21-March 21)
This week you may sense it’s time to clean and clear in preparation for a new beginning slated for February 20th. Whatever’s been gestating in the deepest darkest recesses of your mind and heart may be ripe for unveiling later this month. But for now you may be dealing with difficult issues related to the “birth, death, loss, and rebirth” cycle of life. It’s a quiet private theme that could make you sad at times. An attitude toward mothers, mothering, nurturing, and caregiving evolves. Loss is a theme. A change in personal values and priorities may be related to a shift. Between now and May 26th you may reconsider a relationship commitment. More time or information may be needed to come to a conclusion or resolution. But the most important thing for Pisces this week is related to Chiron in Aries. An old painful wound is triggered with potentially beneficial results. The spark of genius we all possess is activated by our single most painful life experience. The part of you that’s been most deeply wounded is the generative source of the best gifts you have to offer the world. (Robert Bly) This week you may understand that mystery. It has the potential to change your understanding of pain and it’s ultimate purpose.
