ARIES (March 21-April 21)
At the moment, Mercury sits in a very sensitive spot, in a very critical degree, in your solar chart. Communication is highly sensitized, future oriented, and on the cusp of going public, possibly impacting your career and life direction in a big way. In the 29th degree of Sagittarius, Mercury’s transition is from the world of beliefs, expansion, optimism, and tolerance into Capricorn’s world of executive organization and leadership. It appears you have refined your ideas over the past five weeks and now your ready to spread a positive, inspiring, uplifting message of hope. The more people you reach the better. The world needs to hear something authentically uplifting from someone who truly believes in the message they send. Your impact could be profound. If you have the opportunity to speak publicly accept it.
TAURUS (April 21-May 21)
It is likely that generous tendencies may now overwhelm the fear that previously prevented you from sharing what you know and the gifts you possess. It is possible that your sensitivity to other’s pain has pushed you into offering the kind of help and support that only you can provide. What has held you back and kept you tightly contained is now being overwhelmed by love, the joy of providing service, and the need to actualize your dreams by helping others actualize theirs. Being a creative “dream facilitator” contains the seeds of a new career beginning – and possibly a change in life direction. It’s beyond me to predict how this will unfold. But your natural foundation is a foundation of love. That and a consolidation of focus is all you need to launch whatever you desire.
Mercury, your chart ruler, is currently placed in the critical 29th degree of Sagittarius, teetering on the cusp of the powerful and deeply transformative 8th house. We rarely think in terms of humor, light-heartedness, and whimsy where the 8th house is concerned. It seems too profound, potentially dangerous, and serious for that. But there is the notion that in a focused way you can now easily connect with spirits of the dead – in this case preferably the ones who make you laugh, lighten your heart, and return you to a child-like world of hope, optimism, and endless possibility. Humor is deeply transformative for you this week. Think in terms of reconnecting with fun-loving ancestors, childhood imaginary friends, comedians, and those who crave new ideas and fast-paced conversation. It is possible that the underworld is a place where there’s room for joy as well as darkness and pain.
Cancer is re-introduced at this full Moon to the notion of grounding for better balance. One way to do this is to attract a healthy Capricorn into your life to observe how they operate. Their concerns center around what’s practical, what works in the real world, building strong structures, the value of self-discipline, organization, hard work, and harnessing various loose threads and vague ideas that tend to make us less formidable than we might otherwise be. You don’t really need a Capricorn in your life. You just need to integrate more fully into your own life some of their characteristics. It may feel like a whole new world to operate according to a set of Capricorn rules. But actually it’s a world you’re deeply familiar with. It’s your under-developed other half. This full Moon may change your perspective on the vastness of your potential and the need for a more stability and balance.
LEO (July 21-Aug 21)
Leo’s feel a sense of pride and specialness in who they are and what they’re becoming. It is difficult for them to excuse others who treat them as average citizens, run-of-the-mill friends, and just another family member whose flaws are all too familiar. Leo reacts badly to that kind of treatment. They may not show it, but it’s noted and embedded in their brain …and often sadly within their heart. Leo’s expect a level of perfection from others. They may take it as a personal insult when too little effort is made to treat them the way they feel they deserve to be treated. The full Moon rising in your 12th house implies that it’s time to clean house. It’s time to get rid of old memories of old slights and insults. It’s time to erase the slate in preparation for a clean, new beginning. Forgiveness does not diminish you in anyway. It does exactly the opposite and it feels good. The cosmos is making this easy for you.
It seems you may be inviting someone into your life who challenges you to let go of something you’re determined to hang onto. Maybe you’re on the cusp of changing your mind, of thinking more negatively, or more realistically. Maybe you simply wanting to practice your current arguments for sticking with your own ideas and decisions. Maybe you realize that you’re at the end of a year long journey and you want to make sure you’ve considered all there is to consider before deciding on one idea or the nother. Actually you won’t be done mulling things over until September of 2017. If there ever was was the possibility of coming to a perfect conclusion or perfect decision I’d bet on you. But your focus will change in May. “Holding on” energy will wane at least in the area of your current focus. Then you might be more amendable to letting go of old ideas and attachments. But it’s not surprising that you’d want to fully vet yourself now for any errors in thinking or judgment.
You may now, and for the next several months, be able to take advantage of Jupiter’s presence in your 1st solar house. This is a strong and powerful position for Jupiter. It usually manifests as more confidence in your ability to balance your life, to pursue new relationships, to take advantage of lucky breaks, and the firm support that allows you to start something new. The world seems to be accommodating your urge to expand. The time may be right for you to launch yourself in a better, more satisfying direction. Your work, or work in general, can be associated with the belief that you need to sacrifice more than you actually do. Being victimized or punished by your choice of work may be an old, entrenched belief you’re currently in the process of transcending. This is a perfect time to prove to yourself that you can manage your work, your responsibilities, and/or your health in a ways that enhances your enjoyment of life.
SCORPIO (October 21 – November 21)
Changing your perception of your past changes the nature of your future. Scorpio is a retentive sign, holding on for way too long to old ideas and grudges that could be updated and revised. Twenty years ago you were capable of processing information in a very limited way compared to what you’re life experience and accumulated wisdom will now allow. It may be worth your time to recall an old, dark, relationship experience that continues to occasionally haunt you. Examine it from different angles, turn it over in your mind, and consider the possibility that you’re now capable of deeper understanding and a broader perspective. It’s one of the most productive reasons I can think of for indulging dark Moon Lillith now powerfully placed in your 1st solar house. Triggering her triggers a grand trine involving the full Moon, Chiron, and Lillith. This is a deep healing opportunity that requires not much effort on your part. Just a little goes a long way.
An accumulation of Pisces planets, asteroids, and theoretical points in your 4th house – your foundation – signals the need to soften your essential self. You’ve evolved. You’re no longer in danger of collapse, of sinking, or of shifting too far in one direction or another. You’ve achieved a level of balance that frees you from having to be “the immoveable rock of Gibralter.” You can breathe a sigh of relief. A phase of instability is over. Send the reinforcements home and prepare to relax back into your softer, more flexible, less rigidly disciplined self. You’re free now to follow your instincts, to trust your feelings, and to be safely guided by a kinder, gentler, more tolerant approach to life and love.
CAPRICORN (December 21-January 21)
There is an element of uncertainty in your life that centers around a lack of trust. You may not feel comfortable assuming that others are telling you the truth, that they will deliver what they promise, or be on your side when you need them most. There is a shakiness, a lack of conviction, and the feeling that desired future outcomes may be in jeopardy. It may be time for you to get fully on board with yourself and for your cause. It is possible that your ideas are gaining traction, that you have more support than you know, that you’re more convincing than you realize, and that very soon what you say will be taken very seriously. In the meantime continue to strategize and prepare. Your on the cusp of a significant change.
AQUARIUS (January 21-February 21)
Something deep within stops you from taking the needed steps to pursue your dreams. It’s not a conscious thing – and it’s not valid. Maybe it once was, but it no longer is. There’s a tendency to underestimate you ability to accomplish what you want to accomplish and the need to depend on others you assume to be smarter, more practical, and more capable than yourself. And then there’s always the handy excuse of not being able to finance your dreams. This full Moon challenges you to let go of those old tendencies and beliefs so that you can begin to manifest the most adventurous and satisfying chapter of your life story. For you the best way to counteract old tendencies is to begin to fill in the details of an actual plan, to advance your skills, to break up old routines, to learn something new, and to expand foreign or legal connections.
PISCES (February 21-March 21)
You may be free floating through a phase that feels nebulous and vaguely dissatisfying – but not really. Something is missing, but sometimes you’re glad it’s gone. Always a shape shifter, that style and approach to life may be magnified. You may feel tired but more effective when you don’t assert yourself – except artistically. This full Moon temporarily removes blockages to healing. Over the next two weeks it’s possible to let go of old disappointments in love. A release signals to the universe that you’re ready to move on. You are about to enter a powerful imaginative phase that centers around priming yourself for a new and different kind of love, or lover. Imagine someone full of integrity, unusually brilliant, self-disciplined, with humanitarian leanings – someone stable enough to nurture your sensitivity, your longing for security, and your artistic approach to life. This may or may not be someone new. But it is someone capable of responding positively to your new freedom and expanded capacity in love. Of course you could use this imaginative phase to imagine the worst. Don’t go there. You don’t have to.
